POBJOY HERITAGE
The family owned British Pobjoy Mint was established by Derek Pobjoy in 1965 and struck it's last ever coin in October 2023. But the Pobjoy name has been synonymous with fine jewellery, precious metals, diamonds, high quality minting, bullion and objets d'art since the 1930's and traces it's roots in metallurgy back over 300 years.

FINE JEWELLERY
Pobjoy offers our valued clients an eclectic and ever changing range of premium quality fine jewellery, certified diamonds and coloured gemstone creations.
This means that we specialise exclusively in precious precious gems and jewellery made exclusively from sterling silver, gold of varying purities, palladium and platinum.
Certain pieces are both designed and created within the Pobjoy Mint facility here in Surrey.
Bespoke items are designed in-house and made by our highly specialised crafts people, in several locations across the UK.
Some of our curated collections are diligently hand selected from other trusted, industry leading jewellery manufacturers.
All our certified diamonds and coloured gemstones are hand chosen by Pobjoy and sourced from reputable, ethical suppliers with whom we have held relationships for many years.
Pobjoy stands behind every item of jewellery we create and sell, providing you with peace of mind, quality assurance and ongoing customer support.
All our fine jewellery is appropriately marked to industry standards and our diamond rings and bespoke items hallmarked with the Pobjoy makers mark ('PM') by the Sheffield Assay Office in the UK.
ORIGIN OF OUR JEWELLERY
Our fine jewellery, precious metals, presentation boxes and packaging are sourced primarily from the UK as well as Germany, Italy, Mexico, Turkey, USA and South East Asia.
Diamonds are sourced from recognised ethically responsible bourses conforming to the Kimberley Process. Further details of diamond sourcing and ethical origination are available when ordering.
CUSTOMISATION & BESPOKE
We welcome customers who want us to assist in creating their very own item of jewellery and will work with you as much as you wish to make this a reality.
Our in house facilities and expertise enable us to provide customization and personalisation of many items in our range.
We will create free detailed draft designs based upon your brief and provide an estimated quote without obligation.
VISITORS SUITE
We welcome customers to come in and see us at our visitors suite by appointment. See our extensive and eclectic range of diamond engagement, eternity and wedding ring collection designs.
You can also prearrange for you to view specific items of fine jewellery that you may be considering buying, without obligation. It is a relaxed atmosphere and we are always pleased to see new - and familiar - faces.

SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainability means more than a buzz word. At Pobjoy people come first. That's why from the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic our UK facility was temporarily closed and only reopened on a reduced working week from July 2021 onwards.
Throughout this period Pobjoy has prioritised team welfare and the wellbeing of visiting customers, meeting and often exceeding the ever changing government health and saftey guidelines.
In addition to the responsible sourcing protocols of our natural mined diamonds, Pobjoy has been an early and enthusiastic proponent of laboratory grown gems.
While it is true that the energy consumption involved in the creation of laboratory diamonds may to some degree impact upon their ethical credentials, on balance the evidence supports their longer term sustainability over more traditional mining techniques.
Product presentation and packaging is another priority of our company ethics. Our policy is to present our diamonds and fine jewellery as luxuriously as possible but by using recycled materials and avoiding single use plastics where practicable.

At Pobjoy we understand that the customer experience continues after the point of sale. We will ensure that your order is fulfilled and safely shipped to you as quickly as possible and promptly respond to any issues that may arise.
