EXAMPLE HGDL DIAMOND CERTIFICATE

  • London's Hatton Garden Diamond Laboratory (HGDL) certificate provides an independent verification of the grading of smaller carat weight natural mined diamonds used in diamond-set jewellery. These are also referred to as "melee diamonds."

  • Each certificate provides details of the precious metal of the jewellery item, the combined diamond carat weight, shape, colour and the clarity grouping, for example F-G/VS.

  • By nature of the size of melee diamonds, the amount of information provided is less extensive than for larger certified diamonds.

Some of our diamond set jewellery designs may be provided with alternative independent diamond grading certification.
